This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic! I have been going here for years, and they have always treated me right! Dan is a stand out guy, and he chose an incredible human to take over the shop! Matt has been completely honest with me every time I’ve gone in. He always tells me what needs to be done, and things I should be aware of, but aren’t urgent. You can’t beat the price, and I promise wherever you go, you can’t beat the service!
I love this place! The owner and I have been friends for years now. I’ve seen him in plenty of situations where he easily could have gotten away with being dishonest, but he did the right thing anyway. They are honest here so they’re not just making up prices and screwing you over like a lot of places do. So as someone that knows nothing about cars, THANK GOODNESS!! I tell everyone I know about the integrity and great service of The Inspection Station! I’m a big fan!
We had a very interesting issue and problem with our catalytic converter, which was making it difficult for us to pass emissions. They ran emission’s several times for free and even offered a discount a few months later when we came back after having the problem fixed. It’s was a perfect example of a family run business treating me like a valued long time customer. I will be going back there for every car issue I have moving forward.
Matt and Dan at The Inspection Station are honest, transparent, and fair on price. They explained everything clearly, were easy to work with, and made the whole experience feel straightforward and trustworthy. It’s hard to find auto service like that. Highly recommend.
Only repair shop I’ll go to! The most trustworthy techs, especially Matt, the owner! They’re quick, efficient and most importantly, honest! I recommend anyone and everyone looking for a reliable mechanic shop!
Britt and Sam were excellent to work with while I was buying a car from a dealership I did not totally trust. They hooked up a follow up inspection for free and I bought the car with peace of mind thanks to them being so helpful. 10/10 recommend
I love coming here. I have come here many years to get my emissions test. The staff is always friendly. The work is done quickly and the price is fair.
I called the shop in the morning and they were able to get my emissions done that same day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the shop was in a convenient location right off State St!
Dan is honest. He will tell you what's wrong, and he will be upfront about the costs. We had one car that would honestly cost more in repairs then it would be to purchase, and Dan wasn't afraid to tell us it would probably be better for us to buy a new car then pay him to fix it. He's honest and a great mechanic and I know I can trust him! No idea what we would do without him! If I could give over five stars I would.
We arrived after they were technically closed but Matt still took care of us and gave us great service. Some of the best prices for emissions testing too.
Incredibly honest. I called to have them inspect a car I was looking into buying. After bringing it back Dan immediately saw that there were major issues and came back and didn't even charge me. He could have easily still charged for the service. I'll be coming back and I hope this review helps them get the customers they deserve.
I have been using the Inspection Station for years! Great service, great people, and it’s refreshing to have an auto repair shop you can trust.
Speedy, professional, kind and helpful service from Sam, Matt and Britt! Will be back again.
I really appreciate the mechanic that brought to my attention I had a gps tracker installed in my car without my knowledge. I have gotten emissions at other locations before and no one ever mentioned it to me. They removed the GPS tracker for me. Thanks a lot!
Got my emission testing done here. Incredibly fast, cheapest I’ve found in the Orem area and the customer service was incredible. I never leave reviews, but this experience was so great, kind, and easy, I felt like I should leave a review.
Great, quick service and reasonably priced. Bring some quarters for the antique vending machine!
I have been going to The Inspection Station for decades now. Fair prices and I never have to wonder if I'm being ripped off. They are always honest.
Stop guessing.
